COVID-19 - Birmingham Orthodontics

Update for Our Valued Patients

Birmingham Orthodontics will be closing beginning Tuesday March 17, at 8 a.m. until Friday May 1, 2020 due to the Coronavirus outbreak.  The American Dental Association has recommended that all elective dental procedures, to include orthodontics, be postponed for the next three weeks in order to reduce the spread of the virus. We feel that it is in the best interest of our patients and our team if we cease services for the time being in order to reduce the risk of exposure to everyone.

Birmingham Orthodontics will continue to provide treatment for those having true orthodontic emergencies. If you have a true emergency, you may call our office for an appointment at 205-733-2022.  You can also check on Facebook.com/BirminghamOrthodontics for updates.

The Coronavirus epidemic is a fluid situation.  Within the next couple of days the Alabama Department of Public Health will be making recommendations as to when it will be allowable for patients to have elective dental procedures to include orthodontics.  As soon as we receive this information, we will begin rescheduling your appointment.  Your health and safety is of utmost importance to us and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Please be patient with our staff over the next two days as they attempt to answer any of your questions.  We anticipate they will be handling a very large amount of phone calls concerning this.  They may not have all of the answers.  We will be working to get patients back into treatment and things back to normal as fast as we can.
