DR. HARTMAN

Graduate of University of Alabama at Birmingham and Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. Received certificate in orthodontics from Howard University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Hartman was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society while at Meharry Medical College and received several honors including the Academy of Operative Dentistry student award and the American Association of Orthodontists student award. She was awarded the Faculty Award in Orthodontics while at Howard University for having the highest academic average in her post-graduate orthodontic class. This year Dr. Hartman was recognized as one of America’s Top Dentist by the Consumer Research Council of America. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

DR. RIVERS

Graduate of The University of Mississippi, Summa Cum Laude. Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Rivers is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies, and finished second in her class at The University of Alabama Birmingham where she received honors such as Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Leon H Schneyer award and the Hinman Scholar award. Upon graduation she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Birmingham where she treated some of the most complex dental cases. She remains active in her church and community and currently serves on the Make-A-Wish Advisory Council.

DR. FEINBERG

Graduate of Duke University. Received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Certificate in Orthodontics, and Master of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

While at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Feinberg was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and received several honors, including the American Association of Orthodontists Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex and the Quintessence Award. Dr. Feinberg published her original research in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. She maintains active memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontics. In her spare time, Dr. Feinberg enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

DR. PUGH

Graduate of Auburn University, Summa Cum Laude. Received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Received her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree from the University of Texas at Houston.

While at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Dr. Pugh was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and received several honors, including the Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence and the Dean’s Academic Distinction Award for finishing first in her class. She maintains active memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontics. In her spare time, Dr. Pugh enjoys cooking, staying active outdoors, serving the community with Church of the Highlands and spending time with her family.

DR. SOUCCAR

A native of Beirut, Lebanon, Dr. Souccar earned her DDS from the Saint Joseph University in Beirut and her Orthodontic Certificate and Master of Science degree from the American University of Beirut. She also received her DMD degree and certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Souccar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is the recipient of the Eugene E. West Fellowship Award and Fred and Dianne Garrett Biomedical Research Award, both from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation. She has been recognized for her contributions to education through the UAB President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and the UAB Graduate Dean’s Award for Excellence in Mentorship. Dr. Souccar is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Souccar is fluent in English, French, and Arabic. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

DR. KELLY PAGE

Dr. Page is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Cum Laude, and received her Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Dr. Page worked as a general dentist for seven years before returning to the University of Alabama School of Dentistry to receive her Master’s of Science degree and Orthodontic Certificate.

Dr. Page is active in the Christian Medical Ministry Association as a board member and frequent speaker. She also leads a small group of dental students in a weekly Bible study. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, Birmingham District Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and Southern Association of Orthodontists.

In their spare time, she and her husband Greg love spending time with their children and grandchildren the most. They also enjoy serving and spending time with their church community, traveling, and various forms of exercise including hiking, cycling and swimming.

DR. MCCARTHY

Founder

Board certified. Graduate of University of Alabama School of Dentistry.

Our founding orthodontist, Dr. McCarthy, who is so dedicated to the business he started that he still works from time to time from retirement. He received his orthodontic training while serving in the military. During his ten years in the US Army, Dr. McCarthy rose to the rank of Major and served as a Green Beret. He is a board certified orthodontist with nearly two decades of experience and has been recognized as one of America’s Top Dentist by the Consumer Research Council of America every year for the past decade.
