Dr. André Ferreira

Dr. Ferreira provides braces and Invisalign orthodontic treatments at our clinics in Birmingham, Alabaster, Chelsea, Hoover and Trussville, Alabama.

Dr. André Ferreira, DDS, DMD, MS is a second-generation orthodontist with over 25 years of experience combining clinical excellence with academic leadership. 

A Brazilian native, Dr. Ferreira completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and General Dentistry in Brazil before earning a second Dental Degree and Orthodontic Masters degree at the University of Alabama.

Dr. Ferreira has practiced orthodontics for more than 25 years and previously served as a faculty member teaching orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Recognized as an expert in digital orthodontic workflows, he also serves as a consultant for Align Technology, where he contributes to advancing modern orthodontic techniques through innovation and mentorship.

Outside the office, Dr. Ferreira is an avid technology enthusiast who enjoys fitness, camping, and hiking. He has been married for over 25 years to his wife, Andrea, a fellow dentist, and together they are proud parents of two daughters, Julia and Olivia.
