When it comes to making a decision about straightening your or your child’s smile, it’s easy to get hung up on the cost of treatment. However, this is an investment that comes with lifelong rewards. A straight smile can raise confidence and self-esteem. The best part? It’s a long term benefit that boosts confidence, social skills and ultimately, earning power. With that in mind, we know you still have questions. How much will the entire treatment cost? How am I going to pay for it? Does insurance cover orthodontic care? What if I can’t pay for it all at once?
We’re here to put your mind at ease. During your first visit, we’ll determine what you or your child’s treatment plan would look like including your financial options. Our mission is to create smiles for everyone at an affordable price. We back that up by offering a variety of flexible payment options. When it comes to health, you shouldn’t have to worry about finances getting in the way. If you want a straight smile, we want to make that happen.
Can I finance braces?
One of the best ways to afford the cost of braces is to finance them. We understand that paying for full treatment in advance is not always feasible. Our interest-free in-house financing plans allow you to pay for treatment at a lower cost over a period of time. Our team works with you to find the best plan for your budget.
During your free consultation, our doctors will sit down with you to talk about treatment options. If you’re interested in braces for your child and they’re too young to begin treatment, we’ll offer our Youth Savings Program. This allows you to lock in current treatment rates and begin financing your child’s braces at a lower monthly cost – and at no risk to you. If you decide later on that you wish to forego treatment, we’ll give you a full refund. Our goal is to make braces convenient and affordable to you.
Are there special discounts?
We’re so glad you asked! In keeping with our mission, we offer several different patient appreciation discounts that can reduce your total cost of treatment. We offer our no-down payment option for those who qualify. Additionally, we have a paid in-full discount available for those who pay for the entire course of treatment within the first 30 days. We’ll also offer a lower cost for each additional member of your family that receives treatment.
At Birmingham Orthodontics, we aim to provide convenience, quality, and savings wherever we can. That’s why we offer Same Day Braces. With school in full swing and extracurricular activities crowding your calendar, this option saves you money and time. If you or your child begin treatment immediately following an initial consultation, we’ll get you started with a $129 discount.
What about insurance?
Insurance can help cut the cost of braces, but not every insurance carrier covers them. Prior to your initial consultation, check the status of your orthodontic coverage. If your insurance covers treatment, we’ll file that claim for you. If you don’t have insurance, don’t worry, only about 25% of our patients have treatment covered by insurance. We can set up an affordable plan that stays within your budget regardless of your coverage.
